Atlantic Mackerel

Latin name: Scomber Scombrus

Atlantic mackerel is wild caught by purse seiner in the east and west coast of NewFoundland and Labrador.   The season runs from late August to November.

Fat content varies between 18 % - 25 %

Processing:  Whole round – Blast frozen
Packaging: 10kg; 15kg; 20kg  cartons
Size: 200-400g; 300-500g; 400-600g; 600g+

We also have access to Atlantic Mackerel frozen at sea.

This Atlantic Mackerel is hand packed in fiber board cartons of 10/11 kg. 

The season runs from December to May.
