Greenland Turbot

Latin name:  Reinhardtius Hippoglossides

Greenland turbot is found in the cold Arctics waters around Newfoundland, Labrador, Baffin Island and the Gulf of St. Lawrence.   The method used to harvest Greenland turbot are trawlers, longlines, and gillnets.

Harvesting season: June to September

Processing:

  • Seafrozen or Landfrozen
  • Headed & Gutted (H&G)
  • Skinless and boneless fillets
  • Heads
  • Tails

Packaging:  15 kg; 20 kg
